BenQ BL2711U monitor is one of the latest models released in 4k resolution monitors. This model is best suited for graphic designers, artist and also gamers who like display of fine graphic details while playing the game.

BenQ BL2711U is a solid product with lot of fine details. The 27 inch provides a lot of work space which help in accommodating more details inside a file. It also provide a wide viewing angle ensuring a visual fatigue free experience. The controls on the monitors are touch sensitive and also have a sensor to check the proximity of viewer and display the colors accordingly.Here are the details of this monitor.

The monitor is a 4k UHD (Ultra High Density) Monitor. It supports a resolution of 3840 x 2160. The high resolution provides very small pixel pitch of 0.155mm which provides a lot of work area for the user.

100% sRGB and REC 709 ensure display of 1 billion colors with optimal precision.

The panel is IPS panel technology with anti-reflective matte coating. The 10 bit IPS panel is powered by white LED backlight using enhanced phosphors.

It provides a wide viewing angle of 178 degree. This ensure the viewer observe the same clarity from all angles which means less optical tiredness.

10 levels of brightness

The brightness comes in 10 levels which can be used to brighten up the area in dark areas. This is especially useful for gamers.

No Flickering BenQ Proprietary Technology

The monitor like all other BenQ monitor is flicker free. Flickering on modern monitors are negligible, but the eyes might feel it without a viewer feeling that. Having a completely flicker free monitor prevent the chance of stress and fatigue caused by flickering. The monitor regulate brightness using Direct Current (DC) than PWM (Pulse Width Modulation).

Preset Modes

The monitor stand is adjustable. It can be tilted 20 degrees backward and 5 degree forward. The monitor can be swiveled to 45 degree angles both sides. It can also be rotated 90 degrees for a portrait mode. The height of the stand can be adjusted to maximum 140mm between the base and screen bottom.

The monitor works at 3840×2160 @ 60 Hz refresh rate. You need to use a Mini DP connector or HDMI 2.0. You can use a DVI or HDMI 1.4 and below connectors, but that will limit the refresh rate to 30 Hz.

It supports DVI, DP 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 display connectors.

There are four 3.0 USB ports. Two on the left side of the screen and 2 on the rear side of the monitor.

Verdict

BenQ BL2711U is one of the best professional and feature rich monitors available in the market right now. The flicker free technology, low blue light and well lit IPS panel with a wide viewing angle ensure a stress free experience and less fatigue. The wide range of preset modes also help users to select what they want without dabbling with the details.

On the downside, the monitor might be a little expensive.

Finally, if you are looking for a 4k monitor with good build quality and rich in features for professional work without minding the cost, this is the one for you.
