It is finally goodbye to Google Nexus and welcome Google Pixel. The news came as no surprise as the search engine giant was looking on a new brand while ramping down nexus series. Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL was opened for online booking on October 4, 2016. The models is expected to reach shops by October 20.

According to Google, Pixel is the first phone which is entirely built by Google inside and out. It is rumored that Taiwanese manufacturer HTC is behind the hardware, but it won’t carry the HTC logo all in these models. Google Pixel did live up to every gadget and tech enthusiasts. They are better than their Nexus models. Pixel models come with the best hardware specs and software with the latest Android version 7, Nougat installed.

Google released Google Pixel as its answer to Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Hopefully, you can see the competition results very soon as we are nearing the Christmas and holiday season.

Google Pixel

Google Pixel comes with a smaller screen, but it does not mean less powerful. Google Pixel incorporates the best technology in market. Screen, processor, camera and software. The analysis will tell if this is a stop just a mobile excellent or very good looking range, but the fact is that Google presents a smartphone with all the arguments to succeed.

Google Pixel incorporates a 5” screen with full HD resolution, AMOLED technology and Gorilla Glass protection 4. The smartphone is powered by a new processor Snapdragon 821, which is 10% more powerful than the Snapdragon 820 used in previous high end models. The RAM is 4GB which is same for both models and might be the minimum standard to expect from Google phone now on.

Google Pixel camera is 12.3MP and technically similar to the one used in Nexus 6P. The camera used in Google Pixel is considered one of the best camera in the market. It scored 89 in DxOMark. This have the fastest time of capture. The camera can also use Smartburst and HDR + mode.

The battery is 2770 mAh which can be used for fast charging using USB Type C.

It will come with the new Pixel Launcher installed, as well as the Duo and Allo apps. Through the fingerprint reader also we can access the “OK, Google” function. That is, pressing the button will access integrated Google Assistant, since now the voice search is more advanced than ever.

The device will come in 32GB and 128GB version but also have a powerful advantage over other models. Google Photos allows saving images in original resolution into the cloud with unlimited storage space.

This will allow us to release all the space they occupy photos since we in the cloud. So far Google Photos kept on high quality images, but the Pixel will be able to keep everything in its original quality. Google supports Pixel 24h (USA) and options for transmitting information from one phone to another easily.

Availability and Pricing:

Currently, Google Pixel is available in two models: black and white. In US, Google Pixel is priced $648 for 32 GB model and $749 for 128 GB model.

Google Pixel XL

Google Pixel XL is called the older brother of Google Pixel as there is a .5” increase is screen size. The screen size is 5.5” which is a little smaller than its predecessor Nexus 6P.

The design of Google Pixel XL is quite classic in the front. On the back is another matter. And much.The fingerprint reader is in a distinct top and also can be pressed to activate unique features of Google as Assistant . And right here it is the best of these new Pixel, incorporating Google services at the highest level, with unlimited storage Photos included.

Google Pixel XL, features and technical specifications:

A screen of 5.5 inches AMOLED with resolution QuadHD and protected by Gorilla Glass 4. Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor is faster than previous model 820. The RAM is 4GB.

The Pixel XL is powered by a 3450mAh which can be fast charged via a USB Type C connector.

The model is equipped with a 12.3 MP camera and a front one of 8MP.

The Google Pixel also come with covers Live Case customizable , added that we saw a few months ago and that of course will be available for new devices.

If you are looking for the best mobile Android phone today, Google Pixel XL is one of the best candidates to take over mobile of the year award.

Availability and Pricing:

Just like Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL come in either a white or black. The model is priced $749 for 32GB model and $849 for 128GB model.
