How to Change Windows 10 language preference

Windows 10 is available in several languages. If you want to set your Windows in native language, you can do complete the task in 3-4 simple steps. By default, a set of language pack is already installed in Windows 10. If you notice your preferred language pack is not installed, then you may have to download a 6 – 10 MB file over the internet.

How to Change Windows 10 language preference

  1. Go to Windows Settings. Press Start -> Settings

  2. Go to Time and Language

  3. Go to Region and Language
    You can see the default language which is selected now. If you want to select a new language, go to next step

  4. Click Add languages
    You can select the language from the list. In case, if you have to download the language it will be greyed out. Click on that option to initiate a language pack download.

  5. Make the new language default by selecting Set as Default
