LG optimus 2x is the first smart phone released with a dual processor. 1 GHz Dual Core Tegra 2 Processor is manufactured by NVidia. It is powered by Android OS v2.2 Froyo, which can be upgraded to 2.3.

It comes in bar form with metallic design and beautiful curve on the edges. It is touch screen enabled. On top of the phone there is power button and HDMI connector. On the left, they have placed the controls for the phone and on the right there is volume control. At the bottom, there are 2 speakers on either side of the charging port.

A noticeable feature is the speed which makes it perfect for using high end applications. Because of the dual core and it’s capability to process more information, it supports running multiple applications at the same time without compromising on speed.

LG Optimus 2X comes with a 8 megapixel camera. Picture and video clarity is very good. It supports HD recording. There is even an option for showing subtitles while playing video, which I find very unique. There is another 1.3 megapixel camera in the front which also gives a decent clarity. Like most smart phones, it got a proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.

The speakers are located at the bottom. Unfortunately audio quality on this phone is not up to the expectations. But it can be compared equal to other smart phones in the market.

The smart phone is also highly recommended for a good gaming experience. It has got a good collection of in built games which you will thoroughly enjoy. The HDMI feature allows the phone to a bigger screen and play games. Not only that, you can view your captured photos and videos on big screen.

Hey Friends!! The LG Optimus 2X is an excellent phone. Its styling is lovely, it packs in oodles of high-end hardware and thanks to its Android OS, it’s hugely versatile. However, LG has made a few too many slip ups for it to really hit the top spot. Nontheless, particularly thanks to it being a bit cheaper than the competition, if you’re looking for a true smartphone powerhouse, it’s well worth considering.
