Here is a detailed step by step guide to fix Android Error 927
Restart Google Play Store
Chances are Google Play store has malfunctioned. The reasons can be the presence of too much cache files and conflicts with other Apps. Check if this method work.
- Go to Settings -> Applications -> Application Manager -> Select Google Play Store
- Click Disable
- Click Storage -> click Clear Data and Clear Cache
- Click Enable
This should help Google Play store to function properly. Now check if it is possible to download Apps from Google Store.
Restart Android device
Completely shut down Android and start it again. This is to allow the entire OS and Apps to get back to default settings and start from beginning. In my case, I will shut down the device, open the casing, take out battery and leave it for a minute to allow the charges to drain off. In case, if you have a non-removable battery, leave it turned for about 5mts and then start the device.
Try to download update from Google store and check if the problem is fixed.
Clear Cache Files
The problem can be related to low storage space in your device. There may not be enough space for the Apps to get downloaded and installed. Just like the method mentioned in Step 1, you can open individual Apps and then clear the cache. This process can be time consuming especially if you have too many Apps installed.
If you have a cache cleaning App like App Cache Cleaner, Clean Master etc., it is easy to do a scan and remove the files with just one click of button.
Once the process is done, check if the problem is fixed.
Re-add your google account
You need to remove your Google account. Then restart computer and add the same Google account once again. This should fix any issues that is related to your user account.
- Settings – Accounts -> Google -> Click on your account -> Click More -> Remove Account
Restart device and check if the problem is fixed.
